Zipped children’s jacket with a half-brioche texture, knitted top-down with 2 strands held together: 1 strand of Sunday + 1 strand of Tynn Silk Mohair (version 3A). The pattern also includes version 3B in Tynn Merinoull + Tynn Silk Mohair. 2 mm, 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm needles – tension: 19 and 22 stitches = 10 cm depending on the stitch pattern. Notions: separating zip of approx. 40 to 60 cm.
The ribbed collar is cast on and worked back and forth, then increases are made for the raglan before dividing for the sleeves, back and fronts, which are worked in rib. Stitches for the front bands are picked up and worked in double knitting, then the zip is sewn in.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
