Classic men’s jumper with the Marius pattern and a solid fit, in Tynn Peer Gynt. 2.5 mm and 3 mm needles – tension: 27 stitches = 10 cm in stocking stitch.
The jumper can be knitted top-down or bottom-up. Top-down, the back is worked first, back and forth down to the armholes, with stitches picked up along the cast-on edge for the shoulders; the front is worked in two halves with neckline shaping, then joined to the back. The body is then worked in the round in stocking stitch and finished with ribbing. The sleeves are worked in the round from the top down, with the pattern at the top.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
The pattern comes in three colourways: in the table, colours are listed as colourway 1 / colourway 2 / colourway 3.
