Scarf and hood in one, to tie in countless ways, knitted top-down with 1 strand of Alpakka Ull + 1 strand of Alpakka Følgetråd (version 7A) or Alpakka Ull + Tynn Silk Mohair (version 7B). 5 mm needles – tension: 17 stitches = 10 cm.
Begin with the hood, worked top-down with short rows, increases and decreases (Judy’s Magic Cast-On, or a regular cast-on with a seam for beginners). The scarf is then cast on and worked back and forth from point to point with i-cord edgings, and joined to the hood by picking up stitches along its edge before the second half of the scarf is knitted.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a larger piece.
